Make your way to Medellín in order to join this 11-day Masterclass on Entrepreneurship. The course will be led by two experienced entrepreneurs with an extensive experience in teaching internationally. You will be enjoying a unique combination of in-class activities – based on several theoretical, as well as practical examples – and external activities, including several company visits, a meet-and-greet with a local incubator and a field trip to the famous coffee region of Colombia.
During 11 days you will be present in Medellín in an international environment, with both Colombian students as well as students from other countries. What everyone has in common is the desire to grow their entrepreneurial mindset and ambitions.
The course is set-up based on 7 days of in-class lessons during the mornings and company visits during the afternoons. The first day an introductory activity will take place and during the weekend, a field trip will take us to a little village where we will learn all about entrepreneurship using one of Colombia’s finest products: coffee.
We will be visiting a combination of Colombian companies (across different sectors), incubators and other local initiatives promoting entrepreneurship in Medellín. This unique combination will provide you with all the different views you need to get a solid understanding of entrepreneurship, interternationally as well as particularly for Colombia.

Meet your professors
Jorge Cárdenas is colombian and has many years of experience in teaching international business and entrepreneurship, among other subjects. Furthermore he is already running a travel agency for numerous years, connecting people from all over the world. Jorge is an international business graduate from Universidad de Medellín and MBA from the University of Manchester.
Olmo Van Beurden is from the Netherlands and he also has a rich experience as entrepreneur. Besides having ran a surf travel agency for 8 years, he has been involved in many companies, mainly as advisor or business coach. Besides coaching and teaching, he provides in-company trainings on time-management and vitality. In September 2023 Olmo has been teaching the course Entrepreneurship in Water Sports & Tourism for the Universidade de Coimbra (Portugal), a course which will be repeated in the summer of 2024.
